This introductory training is built around our ergodic ecosystem vs. portfolio planning software. Each course is customised to the participants' needs and existing knowledge. The basis is

  1. What does complexity in capital growth processes mean for the businesses your capital is invested in? What are the harmful and beneficial consequences, and the relevance for your job of protecting and growing capital? Introduction to the new class of ergodic investment strategies, why they outperform in unpredictable contexts, and which low-hanging strategies you can implement now in your current structure and mandate, which may need changes to your structure and mandate. Introduction to the investment software comparing ergodic ecosystem vs. portfolio strategies for the same companies and shocks.

  2. Deeper dive into the software, experiencing the consequences of different strategies for the same companies and shocks. Taking your current strategy and investees / planned investee types through the software, comparing outcomes, uncovering your current options and future options to benefit from ergodic investing. Options you can already begin using today in a portfolio through to maximally ergodic strategies.

  3. Deeper dive into complexity in the economy over the next decade. The implications for capital preservation and growth of path dependency and complexity driving dominant non-ergodic outcomes, and why ergodic strategies grow stronger the more complex and unpredictable the economy is.

  4. Putting it all into practice 1. Developing your first ergodic investment strategy. Implications for impact, circular, regenerative investing. Elements of an ergodic investing strategy.

  5. Putting it all into practice 2. Developing your first ergodic investment strategy. Implications for impact, circular, regenerative investing. Elements of an ergodic investing strategy
