Why cocooning?

In nature, a cocoon is both shelter and transformation — a hidden place where what no longer serves is broken down and something new quietly takes form.

This time away offers that same space for you. Not another course or bootcamp, but a confidential pause — away from performance and productivity — to reconnect with yourself, release what’s heavy, and let new directions emerge.

You don’t need a plan. You only need the willingness to listen inwardly, to notice what’s alive beneath the surface, and to gently begin shaping what’s next.

Your stay at the 4-star Hotel du Commerce includes everything: three nights of comfortable accommodation in your own private room, all seasonal and nourishing meals - thoughtfully prepared, and the full guided programme — with ample time for unstructured rest, fun experiences and nature walks.

Over three days, we’ll hold a soft, intentional structure with active facilitation to support you in designing new possibilities from within:

  • Developmental dialogue — spacious, facilitated conversations that help surface what’s shifting within you and compost what’s no longer needed to create space for consturcting stories more aligned with your uniqueness.

  • Reflective writing & inquiry gentle prompts to clarify the values, questions, and visions emerging from your transition to support a qualitative thinking process.

  • Somatic grounding & breathwork - gentle practices to come home to the body and allow it to relax and recharge

  • Time in nature & stillness — unstructured moments for rest, contemplation, and quiet integration

  • Relational space — small group dialogues that invite authentic connection, without pressure or pretence

  • Creative working time — guided design sessions to begin shaping what’s ready to take form in your life or work

Programme Outline

Day 1. Inner and relation work

We'll explore how to build and nurture trust, invite meaningful and useful conversations to enable collaboration in ways that are restorative and rooted in mutual care. Through structured dialogue, increasing each other’s capacity to see more options  when facing a diversity of situations.

  • Using developmental dialogue, reflective exercises, and relational space, we'll:
    • Review the scripts and beliefs that quietly shape our work, relationships, and choices
    • Envisioning a new good life

Day 2.  Seeing with New Lenses: Systems, Money, and Regeneration

On Day 2, we widen the lens to explore how the stories we live in, about value, worth, productivity and growth; construct not just our choices, but our time, and our relationships.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Inner and outer scaffolding for living in right relationship—with self, others, time, and the more-than-human world
  • Regenerative principles and systems thinking
  • Personal narratives, systemic patterns, and inherited beliefs
  • Time and space to sketch your options for your next good life, or work on your regenerative project with facilitation and peer input

Whether you arrive with a seed of an idea or just a strong pull to explore new avenues, this day offers scaffolding for bringing it into form.

Day 3.  Integration & Next Steps

Transformation needs integration, grounding, and sensing into what’s ready to emerge.

We’ll hold space to:

  • Ground ourselves with light and reflective breathwork with Anja -- morning session
  • Reflect on what has shifted, if anything — in you, and in your orientation to work and life.
  • Harvest insights, design principles, and emergent questions
  • Identify the conditions you need to continue your metamorphosis after the retreat
  • Explore what support, structures, or relationships might help carry your work forward — not strategic plans, but alive directions, resonant with who you’re becoming
  • Sense into what you want to protect, grow, or share from this experience

What makes Cocoon different?

  • Discreet by design: We hold all conversations under Chatham House Rule. No recordings, no photos without consent, and no need to “perform.”

  • People like you: Previous participants have included consultants, academics, policy professionals, sustainability leaders, and entrepreneurs — thoughtful people who carry a lot but rarely share their deeper concerns in public.

  • Tangible outcomes: You’ll leave not with a rigid plan but with clarity on the conditions you need to thrive, the choices that matter most, and the first steps you can trust.

  • Integration support: After the retreat, you’ll be invited into a discreet peer circle to help carry what you’ve discovered into daily life.

This immersion is right for you if

You're wondering how to bring your life’s experience into shaping work that nourishes you and others, in a way that truly serves life.
You're feeling done with hustling for relevance or impact within broken systems.
You want to begin seeing your life - your choices, your relationships, your work, your longings - through new lenses.

This is cocoon -- not a bootcamp, masterclass, or pitch lab.
The regenerative cocoon is a space of metamorphosis where the next version of you and your work can begin to co-emerge.
